While still at school Stephan acquired his first classic in his home town of Hamburg. This was the starting signal for hundreds of other classic automobiles, which he bought in the following years and drove with pleasure and conviction. After studying business administration, he worked as a sales man at an authorized dealer for Rolls-Royce/Bentley and Aston Martin before setting up his own automotive marketing company, CLASSICON, in 1993. Through contact with collectors and cooperation with well-known dealers, an international network has been created in which some vehicles are also sold exclusively “off market”. Stephan has always had an Italophile inclination, is married to a Sicilian woman and has a particularly strong connection to the brands of Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
